Upcoming Event Days

Autumn Big Games Day 2017 @ Shifnal Village Hall
Sep 23 @ 10:00 am – 11:00 pm

Telford Games Club have arranged a day of gaming in Telford (10am – 11pm) at Shifnal Village Hall.

The day is aimed at the MEGA scaled games like Mega Civ, Twilight Imperium and other long running games

Who are we?

We are a group of people, brought together by Board Games.  Not in the high street sense of the term, but in the sense of the new generations of board games that have been growing in popularity over the last 15-20 years.

Paul & Dave started the club as a small gathering at home for a few friends, in 2004.  The group grew rapidly, moving to a local Pub, The Horseshoes in Ketley.  The clubs growth did not stop there and in 2016 we moved to the Wellington Cricket Club (WCC).  We currently number between 30-40 people on any given Thursday night and new members are always welcome.

Entry is normally £2, however 1st time attendance is free.  This nominal entry free pays for the following perks;

  • Great Company
  • The WCC Rooms
  • Tea & Coffee (there is also a bar run by the WCC where other drinks and snacks can be purchased)
  • Regular FREE ENTRY Games days (we currently arrange 4 days a year)

We have a committee that volunteer to organise all this and an AGM every year that is open to all club members to vote on the Committee Members.

Where to Find Us.

The Wellington Cricket Club is located a couple of minutes off Junction 7 of the M54.  The postcode is TF1 2BW and there is ample parking opposite the building
